I read in the paper the other day that we are in the middle of a Baby Boom in Ireland and I would certainly believe it! Apparently we're trending as much as 5-6% ahead of predicted numbers of births and have been for the last number of years. This certainly explains why our most popular item this Summer has been the Travelling High Chair! Lots of babies and toddlers went on holidays this year and were able to sit comfortably with the adults on a 'Big' chair.
Of course, Baby Boom also means lots of new arrivals - and I can see the proof of that with all my friends. There is a procession of new arrivals, each one cuter and pinker than the one before.
